Bonjour, I’m Alexis!

I’m a Design & Product Strategy Specialist with over ten years of international experience using DesignOps, Agile Methodology & Design Thinking working as a UX Researcher at UBS.

I help teams to develop their product and user experience strategies, and then work with those teams to build digital products that people love to use — and that deliver measurable business results. Moreover, I am passionate about learning new things, problem solving, and adapting to new methods and project needs to find the “holy grail” between business needs and user needs.

On a personal note, more often than not you will find me experimenting with painting, cooking up something delicious, finding a way to keep moving and being outside, or learning something new (like a new language or a new skill)

Some of my core values…

My international experience allows me to think and communicate more effectively

—————————

Having lived in five countries across three different continents, my international experience has allowed me to look at design from different perspectives and cultures. This helps me understand and be able communicate effectively across various different groups and stakeholders.

I care about the end-to-end experience and the people who make it happen

—————————

I think about the entire journey and the people along the way — From the users to the team of designers, engineers, and stakeholders. I’m not afraid to try new things and embrace failure as a way of learning. Thus, I always try to find a solution to any problem that arises.

Being adaptable allows me to shift quickly from big picture to tactical

—————————

With my experience in many different project types and sizes, I can quickly go from overseeing and empowering the entire design process to being directly involved with specific project work. I am constantly curious and am always on the look out for new tools, activities, and methodologies that can enable more effective designs.
